Tebow on steroids. No wonder he doesn't go over to well in the NFL.

Possibly to Candadian League. A sad ending for the greatest UF quarterback who ever lived.

Tebow is a strange bird, no doubt about that. Even failed as punt blocker.

His biggest problem may be his mind tends to wander when he's around a bunch of guys... whether football is involved or not.

That's what I'm talking about LT.

In general I think he is a good person and has a good heart.  I think he is a perfect example of what happens when you don't socialize your child and home school him/her.  He did not perform well on exams, he is not very bright and he did not objectively listen to critiques.  For example, I cannot really have my dog around other dogs anymore because he is in our house a lot and doesn't socialize with other dogs anymore.  Now he will try to aggressively play with other dogs, sometimes fight and sometimes hump them.  Very similar to Tebow I suppose except less humping.

He was a good gimmick QB in a system that did not prepare him for life beyond 21.  He peaked at the age of 21 and that is what is sad.  I really don't know if he would have been smart enough to adapt to a new or more complex football scheme in the pros.  Tim was set up for failure when he stepped onto UF's campus for a coach that cared only about winning and cared very little about his players.  It seems all of these people in his life really did not set him for success on the football field past college or in life.  I hope he can pick up a trade like welding or carpet cleaning and run a local business in or around Alachau county.

Truth is if Tim Tebow retires from football today he will leave having made millions.  Not to many of us can say that.

Wesley I was thinking the same thing, Timmy ripped the Broncos a new arse! LOL He can just do volunteer work in the Philipines for the rest of his natural life.

There is a sadness attached to him that money can't compensate for. An incompleteness, if you will. I have said from day one that he would never be a successful NFL qb. It just wasn't in the cards and basically, I blame his college coach for that. He did Tim's career an injustice for his own advancement, never once thinking of Tim's future.

It's just a shame that a person with such a good heart and good intentions has to come to this. What the Jets have done to him is criminal. That organization should be roasted in hell for their failure's with him. He needs to get out of pro football and get on with his life. I believe he should get a job within the Florida gator sports administration, even coach and recruit maybe. He is a hero and legend there and truth be told, I think his heart is still there. jmho

Hooey, hooey and more hooey.

First off, it's not any college coach's job to prepare any player for the pros.  It's his job to win games.  BTW, the Pounceys, Aaron Hernandez and others are showing that playing in Meyer's system is no barrier to a pro career.

The most important year of Tim's pro career, his first, was screwed up by the NFL strike.  That off season and season would have really been the time for him to spend every waking moment working on adjusting to the pro game.  He didn't get that.

Lastly, Tim's life will not be judged a success or failure by his number of Super Bowl rings.  He's answering to a higher standard than that.

The wheels are falling off for Tebow.

He can't beat out a horrendous starting QB, nor a 3rd string newbie.

Then his beard falls off and she exposes him as "someone not interested in women." (Homer, here's your chance!!!)

Champs... I consider you have a talk with Jimbo then.  I would have been happy with gimmicky offense that wins games than playing these nail biters trying to run his offense process.  Leverage what you have... a mobile QB... instead we try to run a complex offense that clearly EJ wasn't comfortable managing.

Also you choice of players was very biased.  You picked players that would flourish in any system ran assuming they can block.  I agree Timothy will go on to better things but Urban did it at the expense of developing a kid and preparing him in life.

Tebow's a nice guy..Urban sucks donkey schlongs. If Tim can somehow get to the Jacksonville Jags team, he may survive and thrive.

most of us have never touched another man's penis, or been to the phillipines.  Tebow can't say that.

So Urban should have scrapped his shotgun spread option offense and gone with a traditional, under center Pro Set to help Tim in the pros?  We saw how well altering his offense to fit John Brantley worked.  Come on, now.

You are right about the winning th games part Champs, but rubies could have at least corrected Tim's throwing motion, which would have did wonders for his nfl career. Fact is urbie was just too damn lazy. You can check with some of your own bull gators to verify that. They're who I learned it from.

TT will come to Jacksonville and we'll see what happens.  I hope he succeeds, because that will mean the Jags have succeeded as well, and heaven only knows,  they can't get any worse.

In any case, Tim won't need to learn carpentry skills and earn an occupational license in Alachua County.  He's got it made here in Jacksonville.

Tim has put in a lot of work since UF on changing his throwing motion.  As the NFL commentators are happy to point out, he reverts to his old style as he gets pressured and it gets late in the game.

If you check Tim's NCAA passing accuracy stats, they were some of the best of all time.  Why would Meyer mess with something that was working really well for both of them?

Maybe urbie was the one who taught Tebow that throwing style. Lol!
