Was it the coin toss?

Upon futher review, it seems from reading a few gate blogs that it was the orange pants. Hard to believe, but that is the prevailing sentiment. While I agree that those are without a doubt an abomination to the eye's, I tend to think it was the chippy, I want to be pretty on national tv mindset, that started with Elam's antics and cheap shots and was prevalent throughout the game.

It seemed they wanted face time on tv more than they wanted the game. Throw in a horrible game plan by the chumpster and there you have it. But in the end, it must have been the pants.

The blue jerseys and orange pants are being blamed by some in the Jax gator media.  Dan Hicken the short and supremely mediocre sportscaster here in Jax, who has a radio show with another guy named Prosser (aka the Hick and  Prick Show) declared last night on First Coast News that the last time the goaters wore those ugly things was against the Noles in 99 and they lost.

Since we went wire to wire as the number one team that year, I'd like to go out on a limb here and say that the goaters could have worn their skivvies and the Noles would have won, regardless.  

Isn't that the game which caused Evil Stevil to resign over the leg twisting incident?

That was Shiny Pant's last regular season game as the goater coach.

It may have been the game when Darnell was accused of twisting that wussy RB's leg.   I don't know, it's hard to keep up with that and the echo of the whistle whine.   

Stevil has come a long way.  After all, he now has a player who can take off the head of an RB with a helmet still attached to it and it's all good, you know?

Stevil is as fond of nicknames as I am. He gave Darnell the name "Twister." 

99 game was the lemon game at UF.  don't know what color unis they had. 

twister game was 2001.  i remember because spurrier was upset in particular becuase the following week was tennessee.  they normally play early in the year but that game got rescheduled due to 9/11.
