So, one of the super coaches that they so named and ridiculed constantly is now supposed to save the program and somehow figure out how to beat FSU? rotflmao Has there ever been a fan base as delusional as um's?
They think they have locked down south Florida. That is such a joke. There isn't enough space here to list all the great players that came to FSU from schools down there BEFORE James Coley ever stepped foot on FSU's campus.
BTW..numbnut are you aware he is a graduate of where...FLORIDA STATE!!!!!! Not only are you surrounded by FSU, we now have one inside the program.
FSU alum and he goes to the Canes? Tells me he was not happy. Not one person knows how he will do calling plays. I will say Miami will Ave more yards per game than FSU. Defense is their problem
His wife's family is all down there. He is from there and his family is down there. He gets a very nice raise and gets to be in charge of the offense, calls his own plays etc. At FSU he was basically a errand boy for Coach Fisher and got to do none of the above. Who wouldn't be unhappy if you were the designated OC and got to do nothing but bring Coach Fisher his coffee? He made a good move career wise and one that was best for him and his family. He gets to go home and coach for a good school and a good head coach. Don't try to make it into something it isn't.
BTW..all the coaches left for better positions and more money. It's the nature of the beast. Three years from now if the new one's do good, we will have to do it all over again. Every program has turnovers in their coaching staffs. They are all hired to be promoted or fired. FSU was just lucky for years under Coach Bowden that his stayed with him so long. It's the exception, not the rule.
I'n not saying some weren't happy, I'm sure they were, but they all left for better pay and a promotion, with the exception of Hudson who did get a better job, but would have been let go if he hadn't.
