Running backs steal the show in scrimmage
Coming into Saturday's scrimmage, much of the focus was on Christian Ponder's surgically repaired shoulder, and how much had the defense improved, but it was the Florida State running backs that stole the show.
All six of FSU's scholarship running backs took reps with both the first and second team offenses. Tavares Pressley, Chris Thompson, and Lonnie Pryor all busted off runs of at least 34 yards or more, and Pressley, Debrale Smiley, and Jermaine Thomas each found the end zone once.
