If you hadn't seen Florida State play last season, you'd think the offense was its weakness coming out of its first scrimmage of the preseason in Doak Campbell Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The defense, which is supposed to be the major question mark this fall, outplayed their counterparts, which had a severe problem holding onto the ball. The scrimmage was closed and no stats were released, but Jimbo Fisher made it clear there were far too many interceptions and fumbles. Fisher had the entire team run extra sprints at the end.
