Sooners continue nation wide TE search

Oklahoma's search for tight ends who can help them in the near future has taken them to California, Alabama, and Tennessee in recent weeks. It now seems that New Jersey can be added to the list as Oklahoma has extended a verbal offer to Annandale North Hunterdon Reg three-star tight end Kevin Haplea.

The 6-foot-4, 226-pound multi-purpose prospect's coaches played host to Oklahoma offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Kevin Wilson on Monday morning.

"Coach Wilson came by the school today and he was talking with my coach and pretty much I have an offer from there," Haplea said. "My coach said they just want to see how interested I am. They want me to come down there on a visit."
