FSU helping Brooks to change his mind


Terrence Brooks grew up disliking Florida State. He says, most people in Dunnellon, Florida wear Orange and Blue and they usually don't have a lot of good things to say about the Garnet and Gold. But after visiting Tallahassee for a recent Junior day, the 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete says he's changed the way he feels about the Seminoles.



"We have a stereotype on them because no one liked them. Growing up around it, that's the stereotype I had against them. It will change your mind when you meet the people," said Brooks, "They have a lot of good corners and I like Coach (Dexter) Carter and Coach (Terrell) Buckley. It seemed like they really needed me. Coach Carter recommended me to Coach Buckley.
