Cunningham coming into his own

BOULDER, Colo. - Dating back to his days at Columbine High School, defensive tackle Curtis Cunningham has often been underestimated. Cunningham was twice named Colorado's top defensive player as a prepster, but because he stands just 6-foot-1, a lot of Division-1 programs decided not to recruit him. Their loss, Colorado's gain. After getting his feet wet at the college level as a true freshman last season, Cunningham has developed into one of the more productive members of the Buffs' front seven on defense this fall.
