Rahim Moore talks defense

It never a good sign when your defensive back position has two of the top three tacklers for a game and that is what happened when the Bruins played Cal on Saturday. Bruin sophomore safety, Rahim Moore led the team with nine tackles. Senior corner, Alterraun Verner has tied for second with seven.

Moore talked to members of the media after Saturday's game to discuss the defensive side of the ball's play of late.

Moore: "No accolades, no rankings, none of that means anything. Anyone can get beat. A lot of these college teams they are improving too so it is about who wants it more and that's it."

What do you think the reason is for all the big plays over the last three weeks?

Moore: "They are just out executing us, man. We come ready to play, but then we let things like that slip. I don't like teams to be able to throw the ball deep on us and the defense we were in I wasn't able to get over there…"
