Sheldon Price learning on the job

True freshman cornerback Sheldon Price has been tested by fire ever since he stepped in for the injured Aaron Hester. It has been obvious that opposing teams liked to go his way. Though the opposition have put Price feet to the fire, he has never made excuses or hung his head. He has his best game as Bruin last Saturday and made a key play in the closing minutes to help UCLA end their five game losing streak.

"I was matched with 15 (Jermaine Kearse) earlier in the game on that touchdown," Price said. "So I figured they have to go deep, so I pressed him up and squeezed him out of bounds.

"Then I turned around and the ball is right there so I put my hands up there and I touched it and all of a sudden Mr. Ballhawking Rahim Rahim Moore came out of nowhere and snatched it from me, but I was just glad that someone made the play and stopped the drive because we needed this win bad," Price said. "We're trying to go undefeated in November, so we are just trying to get something rolling."
