Sanders hitting his stride

MORGANTOWN-Since February, Jock Sanders has been on a mission, according to head coach Bill Stewart, the man who once suspended him from all team activities.

Last season, West Virginia running-slotback Sanders earned second team all-Big East after leading the team with 53 catches and seven touchdowns, while adding 462 yards (which was second on the team behind Alric Arnett's 466). He was all set for a stand-out junior season and beyond.

Or, so it seemed.
