In A&M's last two losses, however, the Aggies have faltered in the return game as well. Two fumbles on punts have led to points for Oklahoma and ended A&M's chance of a game-winning drive at Colorado. Sophomore Cyrus Gray returned a kickoff for a touchdown at Colorado, but fumbled twice at Oklahoma - losing one - and misjudged another that ended up giving the Aggies field position at their own three-yard line.

It's not common to point squarely at special teams for losses, but at Colorado it cost the Aggies a chance to win in the end and at Oklahoma is helped the Sooners out to a 21-10 lead despite A&M outplaying the Sooners through the first quarter.

"We certainly need to make sure the errors that we've had the past couple weeks, which certainly have been monstrous and how it plays out in the ball game we've got to make sure that is solved," said A&M head coach Mike Sherman. "We'll put extra emphasis, which we already have but we have to put extra emphasis on that part of the game. It's very important."
