Cats face Huskers for North crown
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Kansas State squandered a chance to earn bowl eligibility at home. That makes Saturday's nationally televised contest a double-or-nothing showdown for the Wildcats, who must overcome Nebraska's powerful defense and a hostile Senior Day crowd at Memorial Stadium in order to keep their season alive. It's quite simple. With a win, K-State reaches bowl eligibility for the first time in three years and returns to the Big 12 Championship Game after a six-year absence. A loss concludes Bill Snyder's first season back on the sideline.
