Bruins press on

Even though the Bruin are wrought off the field issues that has two players ineligible for the bowl game and another reportedly leaving the program, the football team is pressing on and appear to be overcoming the obstacles that seem to be getting in the way of UCLA's quest for their seventh win.

The two players who will be ineligible are Kai Maiava and Morrell Presley. Stan Hasiak has reportedly left the team for good, but the UCLA program has yet to comment on Hasiak.

Through it all, Bruin sophomore All-American safety, Rahim Moore commented after practice the practices in preparation for the EagleBank Bowl game have been the best since he has been on campus.

UCLA head coach, Rick Neuheisel was also pleased with his team's practice performance.

Neuheisel: "It was a great a practice today. I was very pleased with the effort and very pleased with the energy and we need another one like it on Tuesday so that we will feel really good about where we are. Wednesday morning will be our polish deal and then we will get to work having some Christmas with our families and then get on a plane and see if we can't go get ourselves our seventh win, but I like where we are."
