Top 2011 Arkansas prospect visits Ole Miss

Mitch Hall has visited Ole Miss multiple times. However, his attendance at the Rebels' junior day this past Saturday was a little different.

It was a family reunion.

Hall, a 6-foot-6, 330-pound offensive tackle from Russellville, Ark., toured the campus and did all the routine events associated with junior day, but he also got a chance to catch up with his brother.

Hall's older brother, Matt Hall, is a 6-foot-9, 300-pound offensive lineman that recently transferred from Arkansas to Ole Miss. The elder Hall will sit out the 2010 season, but his presence in Mississippi has helped the Rebels' chances with his brother, one of Arkansas' top prospects for 2011.

"Matt being at Ole Miss definitely makes me look at them harder," Hall said. It was great getting to hang out with him Saturday, and I can see myself being with him in college."

Hall currently has offers from Ole Miss and Missouri and is receiving interest from Arkansas, Notre Dame, UCLA and Stanford. He plans to attend a junior day at Mizzou in the future, but it's clear the Rebels have the early lead.

"Ole Miss is at the top of my list," Hall said. "I had seen all the stuff before, when I've been to camp and games, but it was great to see all the coaches again. We get along really well."

Hall's last trip to Oxford was for the Ole Miss win over LSU, and the multiple visits are part of what has the Rebels in the front of his mind. The familiarity isn't there with Missouri right now.

"I don't know a lot about them," Hall said. "They seem to have coaches that can get you to the next level, but I just want to go check it out. It's hard to say much more about them until then."
