South Panola safety on the 'Market'

Recruiting is nothing new to most of the players at South Panola High School in Batesville, Miss.

The Tigers were fresh off their eighth state championship in recent years when the phone started ringing for safety Kenderick Market. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder is just now beginning to scratch the surface with the process.

"Recruiting is going alright," Market said. "I've been hearing from Mississippi State, Tennessee and Ole Miss. Nobody has offered yet. We've just been talking and they send letters."

However, it appears that Mississippi State is one school is standing out already to the talented safety.

"That's where I want to go," Market said of MSU. "I like them very much. They are talking pretty good to me. They have a good coaching staff and a young team. They have some players that I've already played against that I would like to play with like Chad Bumphis."

Market was a staple at Davis Wade Stadium last season to witness the Bulldogs resurgence of fans flock to see Dan Mullen's rookie season on the sidelines.
