LB visits a 4th time

A hulking, young blond was at practice today with his parents and if you looked from afar you thought of a younger Owen Schmitt. He headed down to the defensive line drills with the folks, and by the way he was greeted by, first, one coach and then another, you assumed he was a D-lineman.

Not so, he was 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker Ben Kline from Dallastown (Pa.) High, outside of York. The emphasis is on size because the youngster looked like he could play for WVU D-line coach Bill Kirelawich, his lead recruiting, but instead will spend his college years playing for a guy like Jeff Casteel, the Mountaineer D-coordinator-linebackers. He was put together that well.
