Offense bounces back and dominates defense

JFord's take

This practice was the story of Ross Jenkins. Jenkins had the best practice he has had under this offense. He really turned it on when it came time for 11 on 11 drills. In one single drive he had 2 40+ yard passes. The first was caught by Tim Molton on the side line with a perfect over the shoulder throw from Jenkins. The second was to Phillip Livas on a post route for a touchdown. Jenkins was plagued by his indecisiveness during 7 on 7.

Steven Ensminger continued his consistent play this summer. He has pretty much performed the same each evening.

Tarik Hakmi digressed after his stunning performance just a night ago. He did recover a bit when 11 on 11 started. He seems to be a streaky quarterback that really needs to find a groove.

Colby Cameron had improved performance today, but is still behind the other three.

Running backs

Ray Holley is playing very well, and broke a 70+ yard run for a touchdown.

Wide receivers

The wide receivers as a group shined in practice 3. Molton really showed up in 11 on 11 as well as Ahmad Paige.

Cruz Williams made a nice catch and turned up field from a pass from Hakmi. Williams is improving every day.

David Gru struggled today. He had lots of drops.

Justin Goodman was matched up against outside receivers most of the night. Nearly every time he seemed up to the challenge. Specifically, a ball was thrown to Molton and he batted it away at the last second.

Jay Dudley continues to play with lots of intensity. He read a screen pass in 11 on 11 which in a game situation could have possibly caught. Ramon Randle also broke up a screen pass with a nice play at the line of scrimmage.

Mason Hitt sat out of practice with what appeared to be a minor injury.
