Three Tigers going home Saturday

Auburn sophomore running back Michael Dyer and freshman quarterback Kiehl Frazier will be returning to their home state Saturday when the Tigers travel to Arkansas for a 6 p.m. kickoff with the Razorbacks.

Gus Malzahn will be, too, but it will be a little different for the coach and the two players.

For Malzahn, who was Arkansas' offensive coordinator in 2006, it will be his third time playing in Fayetteville as the opponent. The first came in 2008 while offensive coordinator at Tulsa. The following year at Auburn, Malzahn and the Tigerst raveled back to Arkansas.

"I've been there and done that," said Malzahn, originally from Fort Smith, Ark.

Dyer and Frazier haven't.

Dyer, from Little Rock, averaged nearly nine yards per carry last year against the Razorbacks in a 63-42 Tiger win. But that was in Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium. Frazier, originally from Fayetteville, has never played against Arkansas, his childhood favorite, but he will Saturday. And it will be inside Razorback Stadium.

"The first time was a little weird, a little awkward, there's no doubt," Malzahn said.

He understands the emotions that Dyer and Frazier will face.....
