Darboh marvels at Big House atmosphere

West Des Moines (Iowa) Dowling Catholic wide receiver Amara Darboh has already been to Ann Arbor before. He took an unofficial trip to Michigan with his high school basketball coach this summer, and loved the Michigan atmosphere. He took that experience to a whole new level Saturday when he witnessed Michigan's 40-34 victory over Ohio State.

Though Darboh had experienced Ann Arbor once, his guardian, Dan Schaefer had not until this weekend. Schaefer and his son Max accompanied Darboh on his visit.

Michigan's coaches let Darboh know that the positive feelings were mutual. The Wolverines are in need of wideouts in the 2012 class, and a 6-2, 200-pound prospect with 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash would be a perfect fit in any offense. According to Michigan's coaches, that's especially true of their West Coast attack.

Michigan was the penultimate visit for Darboh. He's hoping to wrap up his recruiting process by the end of the year, and a trip to Florida sometime this month will be his last of the recruiting process.

However, Darboh does know he'd like to get the visit done soon. He plans to make his college commitment before his Christmas break begins.

Following his strong visit to Ann Arbor, Michigan is firmly in the mix for his services.
