Mountaineers in unfamiliar territory

For the first time in Kevin Jones and Darryl Bryant's' four-year careers at West Virginia, and the first time during the Bob Huggins era, the Mountaineers have dropped three consecutive games. And now, the two seniors are charging themselves to help lead the effort to right the ship with eight games remaining on the schedule.

"It's rough losing. Three in a row? This is three in a row. It's rough. I know it's rough for the young guys, it's rough for me," he said. Just not used to losing," Bryant said.

It's just an example of how grueling the Big East Conference can be on a nightly basis, as the Mountaineers have fallen from a tie in second to eighth place in a matter of six-days.
