Column: Getting a handle on the 2012 Seminoles

If you were surprised by Thursday night's performance you shouldn't be.

For the fourth time this season the Seminoles turned in sloppy road effort filled wtih miscues, questionable play-calls and uninspired play. Despite the less than stellar performance you have to give credit to FSU for coming through in the clutch; something it failed to do back on Oct. 6 when it suffered a shocking upset loss at NC State.

When Virginia Tech took a two point lead late in the fourth quarter, EJ Manuel and the Seminole offense didn't falter. The senior quarterback led FSU on an impressive 8-play, 68-yard drive that was capped off with a 39-yard touchdown pass to speedy sophomore Rashad Greene.
