What the Bluegrass has to offer

Kentucky football is on the rise.

Whether it be in the collegiate ranks, where Louisville is moving to the Atlantic Coast Conference, WKU is headed to Conference-USA and Kentucky, after a 2-win season, is bringing in their best recruiting class in the modern recruiting era.

Or at the prep level, where we are seeing the first ever five-star prospect come through the Bluegrass State, the 2015 class in all is an extremely solid group and the 2016 class looks to be one of the best in recent memory.

Star power

It all starts with the five-star I just alluded to, running back Damien Harris. Harris' recruitment was opened up after a de-commitment from Michigan. It's one of those cases where a guy thinks he may have committed without really seeing what else is out there.

Since news of a split between he and the wolverines surfaced many schools have stepped in to pursue the Madison Southern speedster.
