Clarke continues to shine in spring AAU play

The ITS staff spoke with Clarke's uncle and father, who are the head and assistant coaches, respectively, at Verdigris High School to get the latest on his recent play and recruitment.
"Rotnei played in Nashville this past weekend and before that in Lawrence, Kansas," said Verdigris Head Coach Kelley Clarke. "I know he played well at both events. I didn't go to Nashville, but I know his dad has all of the information on his play."
"Rotnei's playing for Team Texas, and he did play well in both events," stated Rotnei's father, Conley Clarke. "In Lawrence, he had one game where he scored 38 points on 11-of-15 from three-point range. He also hit both two-pointers on pull-up jumpers.
