McNeil packing his bags for Tallahassee

Now that his grade "situation" and test scores are taken care of, Camden County defensive end Kevin McNeil is ready for college. The 6-foot-3, 256-pounder will leave South Georgia on Saturday. His destination, Burt Reynolds Hall, home of Florida State's freshman class.



"It's an exciting feeling," said McNeil, "I'm ready to get at it. That's a big relief to get the test scores right. I still had to pull enough grades."



Once he arrives at FSU he will share a room with fellow defensive end Justin Mincey. Both played at rival high schools, but McNeil says they've known each other for awhile. But from now until Saturday, it's all about spending time with family, especially hid mom.
