Woodland has a choice to make

Although Minnesota doesn't bring in a lot of St. Louis area recruits, the players they do land almost always seem to turn out to be major contributors to the football program.

In 2006 the Gophers were able to land three quality recruits from the St. Louis area and they are in on a few already for the class of 2007.

One recruit who has noticed the success St. Louis recruits have experienced in Minnesota is Fenton (Mo.) Rockwood Summit wide receiver Rolandis Woodland.

Woodland lists Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Tennessee on his early top five list. All of the schools have submitted an offer except Tennessee.
