Rebels' star frosh OL gains clearance

Ole Miss continued to look towards its opening game against Memphis 11 days away Wednesday afternoon in Oxford.

The Rebels started practice with some good news as offensive lineman John Jerry was cleared to play for the Rebels. Jerry had been granted a waiver to practice with Ole Miss but did not participate in the Rebels' workout yesterday. He is now cleared and fully eligible.

"He was out at practice. John Jerry is eligible and we're happy about that, he was relieved," head coach Ed Orgeron said. "He was waiting around, ready to go, he was anxious. He was happy."
