Rod: 'In a few days (Pat White) will be fine'

Rich Rodriguez said that quarterback Pat White's side muscle strain flared up in the first half of Saturday's victory over Marshall, but the WVU head coach fully expected his second-year starter to be fine in a couple of days.

"He strained the muscle. It's kind of a recurrent thing. If he rests it, he's OK. But when he moves around or twists around, it gets sore. He could have kept going (passing). We had the game slowed down for his role. I think after a couple of days he will be back to normal," the 1-0 head coach said Sunday in a media teleconference.

White threw for a personal best 168 yards at Milan Puskar Stadium.
