Brink looks ahead towards Baylor

The win over Idaho gave Alex Brink and the rest of the Cougars a big boost in confidence after a frustrating loss to Auburn. That boost was important as WSU gets ready for Baylor this weekend and, beyond Baylor, for the Pac-10 schedule.


"It does feel good to have a win," Brink said. "It gets a little more bounce in everybody's step." Still, that bounce won't translate to overconfidence. Baylor has weapons and a good defense featuring cornerback C.J. Wilson. The best cover man for the Bears, the Cougars expect Wilson to get the assignment of covering Jason Hill. Wilson and the Bears already have the respect of the Cougs. "He's already got two or three picks and he seems to run really well," Brink said. "They look really fast on defense," Brink added.
