A&M Hot 12

Texas A&M absolutely pummeled Louisiana-Lafayette, 51-7, last Saturday at Kyle Field. With the win, plenty of players stepped up and showed that they will be a big part of the 2006 season.


Among the players are multiple defensive linemen who, as a unit, put tons of pressure on the Cajun offensive backfield. With that type of pressure, A&M's young secondary will improve greatly in pass defense just out of coexisting with the defensive line.


Here is this week's A&M Hot 12 of players that stepped up against Louisiana-Lafayette and one player who earned his first start last week and is salivating over the chance to play against Army.
