Four-Star Broyles Looking to Visit Vols

The secondary is one place on the roster where coaches feel like you can seldom have too many good athletes. Tennessee currently finds itself pressed for depth in that area, which only pounds the point home. Oklahoma four-star prospect Ryan Broyles is one player in the '07 class that he Vols' have targeted at a position that fans are probably following a little more closely now.

Broyles (5-11, 168 pounds, 4.5 40-yard dash), from Norman, got a Tennessee offer early in the process, and since then has kept the Vols near the top of what has been a fairly consistent short list.

With the hometown Sooners apparently choosing not to pursue Broyles, his recruitment is more open than it might otherwise be, but the Vols are still battling against some Big 12 programs (and an SEC contender) in what for them, is familiar turf.
