McCoy considering options
For running back LeSean McCoy, the path from high school to college was diverted to prep school. For McCoy, 5-11, 204 pounds, there are a couple of knowns on that path: high school, for instance, was at Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburgh, Pa., while prep school is at Milford Academy in New Berlin, NY. That leaves the final spot on the path: college. McCoy is committed to Miami (FL); on Monday he spoke to the Pantherlair about the strength of that commitment and where he might end up when it's all said and done.
"Of course I plan on, you know, attending there, but a lot of things have happened at Miami, with new coaching staffs and stuff like that," McCoy said. "There are a lot of issues, like you saw the other night with the fight and stuff like that. So there are a lot of things going on. I'm not really sure; I think I'm going to look at a couple other schools, but probably not too many."
With Larry Coker apparently walking his final mile as head coach of the Hurricanes, the possibility of a change in coaching staff has McCoy concerned.
