Freshmen to Get a Look at Cornerback

Redshirt sophomore Ramarcus Brown has not been
able to practice since injuring his hamstring Monday. If he cannot practice
Thursday, he will not play in the Mississippi State game.

"It is doubtful that he will play," said Georgia
head coach Mark Richt following practice Wednesday.

Redshirt freshman
Bryan Evans is the backup wide
corner, but defensive coordinator Willie Martinez may throw freshmen
Asher Allen and
Prince Miller into the mix.

"We will leave it open until Friday and then we
will make a decision and it will be either Asher Allen, Bryan, or Prince to
start and they will obviously be in there for the nickel package," said
coach Martinez.

Coach Martinez may elect to rotate three different corners
at the wide side regardless of which freshman starts.
