Ganguzza has a top five
Stopping the run has been a huge problem for Syracuse this year. The Orange have allowed three teams to run for over two hundred yards in a game and one time they let West Virginia tear up the ground to a tune of four hundred sixty yards. With the high yards given up to the opponent it adds a huge emphasis on landing a few run stoppers in this recruiting class. Syracuse already has a couple recruits that have very high interest in the Orange and those players are Bud Tribbey and Brandon Bullock but another name has appeared on the radar of Head Coach Greg Robinson and his staff, the name is A.J. Ganguzza.
A.J. Ganguzza, 6-foot-2, 263 pounds from West Boca Raton (FL), has offers from Florida International and Florida Atlantic. The two schools that have offered however are not in his top five schools. The top five are Syracuse, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, North Carolina State, and South Carolina. Right now according to Ganguzza an offer will come from Syracuse. The Syracuse offer would jump them ahead of the other schools on the list.
