Football Notes from Athens

The Georgia Bulldogs had six offensive and defensive players named to the Associated Press All-SEC first and second team on Monday.

Georgia's lone first team winner was senior offensive tackle Daniel Inman who won the award despite missing the first two games of the 2006 due to a suspension.

Senior center Nick Jones and senior tight end Martrez Milner were named to the second team offense. Jones has started 31 straight games for the Bulldogs was a preseason All-SEC first team selection by the Sporting News.

Milner is the second leading receiver for the Bulldogs this season with 27 catches for 376 yards and two touchdowns.
