A bright future
Auburn redshirted a number of promising freshmen defensive lineman this fall, several of which are almost assured of being part of the playing rotation next year.
Perhaps the best of the bunch - and certainly the biggest surprise so far - has been Zach Clayton who's been a force during bowl practice after putting in an outstanding fall on the scout team.
"He's going to be a heckuva football player," said Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville. "He's got a lot of strength, tremendous work ethic. The best thing we like about him is his attitude towards playing this game. He's always 110 percent."
