Pieces in place for productive offense

Due in large part to an offense that struggled to find the end zone over the last four seasons, the Alabama Crimson Tide is in the process of hiring a new head football coach.

Often times lacking point production goes hand in hand with a lack of talented personnel. Oddly enough, that won't be the case for the Alabama offense in 2007. The Tide will return as many as nine offensive starters next season, with the lone departures expected to come at halfback and fullback.

While replacing Kenneth Darby, who finished his career third on UA's all-time rushing list, won't be easy, filling the void left behind by fullbacks Le'Ron McClain and Tim Castille will be even more difficult.
