Hebron hoping to step up

The Georgia Bulldogs redshirted a talented trio of freshmen linebackers during the 2006 season. The highest rated high school prospect out of the three players was Akeem Hebron from Gaithersburg, Maryland. Hebron was the number four rated outside linebacker by Rivals.com and the third highest rated high school prospect in Georgia's 2006 signing class behind Matthew Stafford and Reshad Jones.

Hebron spent his first season in Athens working on the scout team with fellow freshmen linebackers Akeem Dent and Darryl Gamble.
