Gray not close to a decision
DeSoto High School in southern Dallas County produces playoff teams and blue chip talent on an annual basis. In some instances, like Denver Broncos running back Tatum Bell, they even turn out prospects who wind up playing on Sundays.
Texas A&M has not signed anyone from the talent laden school in years but are on the verge of doing so for its 2007 class. Now, the Aggies have moved closer to their fans' dreams of a real pipeline with an offer to junior running back Cyrus Gray.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Gray has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Baylor, Arizona, Oklahoma State and SMU. He is gaining heavy interest from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, UCLA, Penn State and West Virginia.
