Chatham perfect on recruiting trail

It didn't take long for tight ends coach Fred Chatham to make his impact felt on the recruiting trail in his first year as a Gamecock assistant. The former Duke recruiting coordinator went a perfect seven for seven, with six of his commitments coming from the Tar Heel State. In today's column we will review the prospects signed by Chatham and what Gamecock fans can expect from those prospects once they arrive on campus.

It became obvious very early on last winter that Chatham would make his presence felt in recruiting North Carolina. Several 2007 prospects were invited down to basketball games and to make unofficial visits to campus in February and March, something that I cannot remember happening since the Joe Morrison Era.
