Alabama OL leaves UGA impressed
Rivals.com Junior All-American offensive tackle Tyler Love left the state of Alabama early Saturday morning and headed for Athens (Ga.). Love was one of the top prospects the Dawgs hosted for Junior Day and this was his first time in the classic city. This big offensive tackle had high expectations and the University of Georgia met those.
"It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the visit," Love said. "We got there around 12:45p.m. and I registered at the Athletic Center."
Once Love registered, he spent some time with the new Offensive Line Coach at Georgia.
"I sat down and ate with Coach Stacy Searels and we talked about a lot of stuff. I met Coach Searels last year when I camped at LSU, so I already knew him. We talked about what is going on at Georgia, why he applied for the Georgia job, how he loves it so much at Georgia, how he would love to have me there, and things like that."
After eating with Coach Searels, Love began the campus tour.
"They carried us through the academic process and I was really impressed with that," he said. "Georgia is not only excellent on the football field, but also in the classroom."
"I got a chance to see the athletic dorms and those were really nice. They showed us where all the athletes live. We then got to walk out onto the field at Sanford Stadium and watch the highlights from last season and that was great. It really got me pumped up out there."
"After that, we went over and watch the basketball game before leaving and heading home."
