Mississippi's best has early top four
One of the top receivers in the country for the Class of 2008 is Ocean Springs (Miss.) prospect DeAndre Brown. The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder is the favorite to emerge as the Magnolia State's top prospect and already has an impressive offer list.
Brown holds offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi, LSU, Florida, Miami (Fla.), South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Alabama, Auburn and Notre Dame, among others.
The Rivals100 to watch selection has an early top four.
"I would have to say LSU at one, Florida at two, Auburn at three and South Carolina at four," Brown said.
Rivals.com 2007 National Top 25 recruiter Josh Henson is the recruiter of record for the Bayou Bengals, who signed tight end Richard Dickson out of Ocean Springs High in the Class of 2006.
"I get along well with all of the coaches and I know a lot of the players," Brown said. "It feels like home (at LSU) and it's only two hours from home."
