Pennsylvania standout checks out the Vols
As the Vols scrimmaged Saturday afternoon, they hosted several 2008 prospects on campus. Most of them were in-state players, but there were a few from outside of the state of Tennessee including athlet Christian Wilson of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania (Montour High School). Wilson is a 6-foot-3, 235 pound athlete who can play a variety of positions and has plenty of college options with thirty offers already.
"I never thought it would be like this, "Wilson said. "I never thought I would have this many when I signed much less now. I went and did well at the combine at the Army All-American combine and the offers just started coming in."
One of those offers was from Tennessee and Wilson said that is why he wanted to see the Vols as early as he could.
"I think seeing places early will be a big help for me," Wilson offered. "I think it will help me a lot in determining if that school makes my final list. It will tell me if I want to come back or not."
