The Tigers have hosted their share of impressive visitors throughout this high school spring break week. All of the visitors spent portions of a day on unofficial visits, except one - Christian Wilson, a Rivals250 member, who visited Thursday and Friday.

He spent a pair of days in Clemson. How did the trip go for the 6-foot-3, 235-pound jumbo athlete out of McKees Rocks (PA) Montour?

"I had a good time and really liked it," Wilson told Tigerillustrated.com Friday evening. "My dad, Perry, my mom, Romi, my brother, Devin all came down with me. My dad liked the campus size, my mom liked the area and my brother liked the good food there."

What all went on during the linebacker/H-Back's first day?

"We were at the school all day," he entailed. "The coaches showed us around. They showed us the stadium, the weight room and the equipment room. I ate lunch with the team at the Firehouse."

"I spent the night with some of the freshmen - Landon (Walker), Brian (Linthicum), Chad (Diehl), Xavier (Dye), Stanley (Hunter), Willy (Korn) and Scotty (Cooper). They are funny, man," Wilson continued.

"We had a good time chillin' in their dorm room, playing video games and watching TV. I mostly hung out with Scotty and he told me why he chose Clemson. He's a funny guy."

Friday brought some other activities.

"First I met with coach (Tommy) Bowden," Wilson said. "He was telling me some things that Clemson has to offer that other schools don't. Then we went to Vickery Hall. After that we ate at Duke's."

The standout also spent time with the coach recruiting him for Clemson, Andre Powell, and Tiger recruiting coordinator Billy Napier.

"(Napier's) a good coach, he likes coaching football and I sat in his office and talked with him," the state of Pennsylvania product noted. "Coach Powell is funny. I could see myself around him for a while and playing for him."

Now that Wilson has taken his first trip to Clemson, what are his overall impressions?

"The kids there have that 'want-to-play' attitude," the linebacker indicated. "And I like the coaches. They get stuff done and have fun, too. Plus, my playing time chances are good there. They see me as a middle linebacker on defense and a U-back on offense."

Where does Clemson sit among the standout's tremendous offer list?

"My top six right now would be Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Florida," he listed.

"I might make it up to Michigan for their Spring Game, but I'm done taking visits for a while now. But yeah, I can imagine taking (an official visit) to Clemson. I'm going to visit some schools near the tournaments our team is playing in for AAU basketball."

Wilson and his family are planning to stop by Blacksburg to catch a Virginia Tech practice on their road home.

The talented athlete had 940-yards rushing and 17 touchdowns last year on offense and 72 tackles and two interceptions, including one returned for a score, on defense.
