Practice report: Tigers scrimmage again

The Tigers held the second half of Saturday's scrimmage inside the Devine Pavilion on Tuesday afternoon. We will get to that, but first our observations from the workout's first hour:

*Couple of depth chart moves: Justin Garrett has moved ahead of Mack Breed for second-string at safety. Danario Alexander supplanted Jared Perry as the starter at one receiver spot and Perry slid behind Franklin at another spot. In addition, James Stigall and Monte Wyrick look to be sharing time at right guard.

*A few players did not participate in practice: Chase Coffman suffered a hip pointer on Saturday. He did workout during drills, but did not scrimmage. Tyler Luellen has class on Tuesday. Greg Bracey is preparing for the Tom Botts Invitational in track this Saturday and did not practice. Brock Christopher was home following a death in his family. Running back Earl Goldsmith did return to practice.

*During seven-on-seven, the early highlight came from Martin Rucker. Rucker collided in mid-air with Darnell Terrell, but took the ball away from the corner for a circus catch.
