Virginia Tech is looking at quite a few prospects in the Peach State in 2008. A new one has popped up on the Hokies radar with an offer in Tucker, Ga. cornerback Neiko Lipscomb.

"I've got to say I've called assistant coach Torrian Gray," he said. "He tells me about some of the coverages they run and one-on-one corner stuff they do. He's also mentioned how they need someone who can come in and play and I like the sound of that. I don't really want to redshirt my first year.

"Honestly though, I don't know much about Virginia Tech except what he has been telling me which sounds good. He does seem like a good person and talks to you straight. I like that he doesn't beat around the bush."
