1. Keith Williams, OG, 6-5, 310, RFr.

Of the three freshmen offensive linemen Nebraska redshirted in 2006, St. Louis native Keith Williams appears to be the furthest ahead. The 6-foot-5, 310 Williams took advantage of the injuries to sophomore Jacob Hickman and juniors Mike Huff and Andy Christensen this spring. The injuries to these three players allowed Williams to work as the No. 1 left guard for the final two weeks of spring practice and this should serve has invaluable to his future development.
2. Phillip Dillard, MLB, 6-1, 250, So.

Nebraska loses their top four linebackers after this season, and nobody will be called on more to pick up the pieces than sophomore Phillip Dillard. Before tearing his ACL in September, Dillard appeared poised to make an impact in 2006. This fall, Dillard should get solid reps and by 2008 he'll be a key component to the Husker defense.
