North Carolina’s Finest: 25-21 toured the state of North Carolina this spring, evaluating several of the state's top gridiron prospects in the Class of 2008 at various Combines. After careful consideration, we release our "North Carolina's Finest" pre-summer Top 25, a list of the best of the best in the Tar Heel State.


No. 25 Travis Leggett RB Cerro Gordo (N.C.) West Columbus

At 5-11, 200 pounds, Leggett has respectable size, and has potential to play tailback or fullback. He has solid lateral movement (timed at 4.33 seconds in the pro shuttle), and he's strong as well, bench-pressing 23 repetitions of 185 pounds at the Shrine Bowl Combine he attended. In addition, Leggett is a superior student, holding a 4.0 Grade Point Average in the classroom.
