Adams says an SEC program is on top

Rivals250 wide receiver Joe Adams has offers from programs like Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Florida and Clemson, amongst others. Many top programs are going after him hard and each school that has offered wants to be on top, but one school out of the SEC has that spot today.

"Georgia is the school I like the most right now and they are on top for me," said Adams. "I visited there a couple weeks ago and I really felt good about everything there."

"It was my first time seeing the school and the campus and I was very impressed. I liked all the facilities, the coaches were great, they have strong academics and I just have a very good feeling about Georgia."

He spent time with coaches like Willie Martinez and John Eason, but he spent most of his visit with former Georgia receiver and new Graduate Assistant Bryan McClendon.

"Coach McClendon just told me his time at Georgia was the best experience of his life and that he loved it there. He said that he visited other schools and all that, but there is no other school out there like Georgia. We got along great and he was real cool and honest with me about everything. He told me a lot about Georgia and the on and off the field situation there. It was great to talk with him."

Another great experience for Adams while in Athens was when he sat down with the Head Coach Mark Richt.
