Green addresses the latest rumor
Anytime a National prospect that holds offers from programs across the country makes an early decision he is bound to be involved in quite a few rumors up until signing day. That has already happened to five-star Summerville (S.C.) receiver A.J. Green. Green committed to Georgia in the fall of 2006 in the middle of his junior year and rumors of him looking elsewhere pop up every now and then. The latest is about him looking hard at Miami and he addresses that here.
"That stuff about Miami is definitely a rumor," said a laughing Green. "I have never even looked at or talked to Miami. Whatever they are saying about me looking at other schools or my commitment to Georgia not being solid is not true."
According to Green, he fully intends to sign with Georgia in February.
"I am one hundred percent committed to Georgia still. Other schools like Florida, Tennessee and Notre Dame are still recruiting me, but they are wasting their time."
"I am only looking at Georgia and that is why I committed to them. Other schools are still going to try, but I am only going to take one official visit and that is to Georgia."
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound phenom out of the Palmetto State committed early because he knew where he wanted to go and he wanted to end the process as early as possible. He made that early decision so he could focus on academics and the Summerville program.
